These Ghanaian silk thread paintings were acquired by an art collector with a
passion for African arts and crafts, primarily from West Africa. Unfortunately,
at the age of 53 he developed dementia and has lost all of his wonderful
knowledge of the arts and crafts that he so much loved. His sister, who is now
his care provider is selling these pieces, and more, in an effort to be able to
provide and care for her brother.
As time goes by we will update
this page with additional images for sale.

March 2012 - I have just added these wonderful Yeb Silk Art images.
The only thing is, the photography is
terrible! Why?
Each silk art has a protective sheet of
acetate that keeps the delicate silk safe - and I did not want to remove it.
This made them very difficult to photograph. So I decided to post multiple
images of each, except for the very good ones. I hope this will give you a
better idea of how they actually look. The glare, shimmering, imperfections
are just reflections from the acetate. If you have any questions about this,
please let me know.
